Bob believes that it is a Constituional right for people to own and carry guns as stated in the Second Amendment.
• Second Amendment: declares "a well regulated militia" as "necessary to the security of a free State", and as explanation for prohibiting infringement of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms."
The Constitution is the foundation of our government. It has, in some 250 years, taken an undeveloped and backward country to the greatest country the world has ever seen or envisioned. The Constitution is a living document and can be amended as and when required by the people.
The right to bear arms is and will remain
a constitutionally guaranteed freedom until the Constitution is amended.
