Bob and Religion “I am a proud and faithful Christian and I believe in the God of Abraham, the God of Christians, Jews, Moslems and others. I receive guidance, comfort and peace from my faith that has guided me since my youth. My faith is the reason I do to others as I wish them to do to me and why I always try to help others at all times.” Bob Jackson One of the greatest freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution is the freedom of religion for all citizens. The Constitution specifically provided that the federal government may not establish a national religion and may not interfere with free observance or expression of religion. Bob Jackson supports the Constitution. Bob believes that there are three focus points for religious activities. 1. Every citizen is free to observe and evangelize their religious beliefs as long as no force or coercion is used against any other(s) citizen(s). This freedom also applies to citizens that do not believe in any religion.
2. The Federal Government may not promote, discourage, finance or make any legislation restricting the freedom of religion.
3. Religious freedom does not grant permission for sedition, subversion, treason or other forceful actions again federal, state or local governments.
